VPSLessons was built on my first ever VPS in December 2014.  The owner of the Forum that I was staff off gifted me a VPS for Xmas.  That feels like light years ago.  Not knowing anything about Linux I had to learn all of the steps from scratch. In the end it was not that difficult to do as there are thousands of helping hands on the Internet.  During the course of my learnings I accumulated a wealth of experiences and thought to share these here.

Currently VPSLessons is on a free VPS from InstaFree.  I discovered Instafree most recently after a long period of absence from post4host Forums.  Instafree has a discussion forum, however one does not need to post in order to get a free VPS.  All one needs to do is complete an application in the application section of the Forum.  What I like about Instafree is its excellent support, and fast speed.  InstaFree knows the hosting business with focus on its clients and how to create great VPSs.
